With over 10 years of professional planning experience in the public sector, Shannon provides consulting expertise to local government and private clients regarding zoning matters, land use, economic development, agricultural planning and support navigating government approvals.  During her time with the City of West Kelowna, in addition to development applications, Shannon was involved in the development of over 15 master plans and championed the development of a revitalization strategy for the West Kelowna downtown core and the City’s agricultural planning portfolio. 
 
Shannon holds a bachelor of science in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of British Columbia and an Urban Design Certificate from Simon Fraser University.  Shannon is a Registered Professional Planner and is Co-Chair of the Okanagan-Interior Chapter of the Planning Institute of BC (PIBC). Shannon is passionate about strong urban design, agricultural planning, urban centre revitalization and ensuring that plans are developed in local context with a strong sense of place.
